FAQ

Decks & Outdoor: Common questions

Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes. We prepare drawings, submit permits and coordinate inspections with your city/town.
Composite vs. wood—what should I choose?
Composite reduces maintenance and looks consistent; wood has lower initial cost but needs periodic sealing. We’ll price both.
Can you reuse my existing frame?
If the frame passes inspection (ledger, spans, hardware, footings), a reface is possible. Otherwise we’ll detail what must be updated.
Do you build in winter?
Often yes—footing and weather conditions apply. Winter builds can shorten lead times for spring.
What about lighting and power?
We coordinate outdoor circuits and low-voltage lighting with our licensed electricians.
