Typical duties

- Respond quickly to spills, setup changes, and ad-hoc requests from onsite contacts.
- Monitor supply levels and communicate restocking needs before service gaps occur.
- Provide professional communication in occupied environments with clients and visitors nearby.
Skills and experience preferred
- Customer-facing professionalism and situational awareness.
- Ability to prioritize fast-changing tasks during active business hours.
- Consistent communication with supervisors and client contacts.
Physical requirements
- Frequent walking and standing across large facilities.
- Routine handling of janitorial tools and consumables.
- Quick-response movement in high-traffic areas while maintaining safety.

Day Porter roles are typically daytime shifts with potential early-start, extended-hour, or partial weekend support based on property type.
Service areas
Most assignments support commercial properties across Massachusetts and Connecticut, based on client needs, route planning, and contract timing.
