Oasis Total Solutions is hiring a Day Porter for commercial facility support in the Andover / North MA area. This role is ideal for candidates who are proactive, professional around tenants/staff, and comfortable handling ongoing maintenance cleaning tasks during active business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, restrooms, break areas, and common spaces during the day.
- Restock paper products, soap, and other consumables.
- Spot mop spills and address visible cleanliness issues quickly.
- Support trash collection and liner replacement throughout the shift.
- Monitor supply levels and communicate needs to supervisor.
- Respond to on-site requests within assigned scope.
- Keep janitor closet and carts organized and presentable.
Requirements
- Strong reliability and communication.
- Professional demeanor in occupied client environments.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize visible issues.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.
- Transportation to assigned site.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior day porter or janitorial experience in offices, schools, or facilities.
- Basic floor machine familiarity (not required).
- Bilingual English/Spanish helpful.
Schedule and work conditions
Typically daytime and business-hour shifts; some flexibility may be required based on account coverage needs.
Travel: Usually one assigned site, but coverage support may require travel.
